Thabu holds BA (Law, Politics) and LLB degrees from Wits University and is an Admitted Attorney of the High Court. He currently serves as a Non-Executive Director on the board of the Bombela Concession Company, the operator of South Africa's most successful Public-Private Partnership, the Gautrain Project.
